Dream5 dancer and model Ohara Yuna takes a starring turn in the new B-Side promotional video from Tokyo Girls’ Style. The fat, round bass of “Hatsukoi” provides soundtrack to Yuno on her winter day in Tokyo. It’s the specific time of year where the air is still chilled, winter coats are still practical, and the trees are starting to spring into life. TGS themselves fail to make an appearance in this lovely piece of film, but since “Hatsukoi ” only plays a B-side track to the group’s latest single (“Last Romance”) these kinds of risks are permitted. Personally, I really like the grooves and melodies of “Hatsukoi” and wonder whether the group should have flipped the order of the songs on the release. “Last Romance” is available now at your local retailer.
